Has served before A.P.C.R. Government College, Siliguri under North Bengal University (2013-16), Hooghly Mohsin College, Hooghly under Burdwan University (2007-13) and Taki Government College, Taki under University of Calcutta from 2002 to 2007. Has been teaching for more than 22 years to undergraduate students. Has been actively engaged in research work and published a number of papers and reviews in reputed national and international journals. Has also participated in University Examinations throughout the career as Examiner, Paper Setter and as Head Examiner under three different Universities.

• Is a member and has taken theory and practical classes in UGC sponsored one year Career Oriented Programmes (COP) in “Tools and Techniques in Biotechnology” and “Plant Tissue Culture” under the Post Graduate Department of Botany of Hooghly Mohsin College, Hooghly in the year 2012-13.
• Has taken theory and practical classes under DBT-Star College Programme of Hooghly Mohsin College, Hooghly, in the year 2011-12.
• An initiative has taken towards faculty exchange guidance at intra level in the college premises by Head of the department of Chemistry, Dr. Bhaswati Bhattacharyya by conducting practical classes of Geography department’s Semester-IV students (CBCS-Hons.) in the Chemistry Laboratory on 10.05.2022 and 11.05.2022 (from 11:00 A.M. to 03:00 P.M.). They have performed the pH and soil salinity test of different soil samples.
